Great game
Great graphics, funny story and all around good gaming. My kids love it. waiting for the next title or sequel.
not for adult
very good graphic, but it is short game and it demand less complicated requirement of thinking then FPP
Fun Game Cool Graphics..
Not too difficult but has a bit of a challanging edge to it. I would like to see this company do more games like this. Super fun!
I usually don’t buy games on the app store but I really thought this storyline was compelling enough to purchase. I’m so glad that I got this! It was such a beautiful game and exciting all the way through. I used to play video games a lot when I was a kid but a lot of games now are a little too violent for me. This game was still able to have the excitement factor without making me feel like I was going to piss my pants from fright. I highly recommend!
Just a so - so game. Gave up on it after the 3rd level. For the price, I guess it’s okay. And others gave it a good review. The game uses the space bar and the arrow keys only. For me it was kind of boaring. Just not my cup of tea.
Awesome game
Works with my xbox controller. Very fun!!!
FUN! Great graphics. The best thing about this game is when you die, and you will die (alot), you don’t have to start over at the “last save”, you begin again right where you died and continue on.
I read the reviews and bought this games because the ratings were so positive. To me, this is just an okay game, it is pretty simple and quite repetitious. It would not take a player long to finish this game. I wish you could try a game before you buy it.!
Yes, the game action is fairly simple, and I wish there were more levels than there are. But this is an exceptionally beautiful game, so much so that I’m almost at a loss for words to describe it. The scenery is meticulously crafted and incredibly beautiful, but what you can’t see from the screenshots is that it’s rendered in full 3D! The sound and music are gorgeous. The story is simple but surprisingly deep—I won’t say more because I don’t want to give away the surprising and beautiful ending. 1337 & Senri hit the ball out of the park with this one. Great work!
My six year (and ten month) old son likes this game. He played it immediately with no help from me… The first level does a very clever job of introducing you to the simple controls and gameplay. The “violent” aspect that earns this game a 9+ age rating seems to be only when Leo hits a thorn or spike, but at that point the game just freezes for a second and resets Leo’s position to where he was a just before your mistake… There’s really no graphic or audible violence. My son sees much worse violence in so-called age-appropriate cartoons. It doesn’t make you replay large sections when you make a mistake, which is nice. The “skills” required for playing the game are timing the direction of Leo’s movement to avoid obstacles, and to take the desired path. I personally don’t like timing-style games, but my son enjoys it. The “puzzles” so far have been very simple to solve, but add periodic clever touches. I really like how Leo grunts, “Ha ha!” and other non-verbal sounds as you make it across a jump or make a mistake… Strangely satisfying. The only complaint is that the gameplay is a single motif, meaning that you’re basically slidinging along a path, timing jumps the whole time, with occassional needs to balance on a beam or bump into a lever/switch. It would be a richer experience if the game had additional modes of play for the character, maybe flying or swimming. In summary, it’s a pretty and clever side-scroller game.
This is an excellent game. I also have the iOS version on my iPhone, and that is just as excellent. With the Mac, I play this game with my PS4 controller, and it works superbly with it. Without a doubt, this is one of the most fun, and graphically stunning games as compared to other side-scrollers. The music is fantastic too. This game is high quality for a very affordable price, and I thank all those involved in the creation of this impressive and fun game! I hope that there is a sequel in the future!
Superb game!
Wow, didn’t have that much fun since a long time! Great game!
good brain teaser
its immersive and its enjoyable. the only thing i have against it is the fact that there are no hints at all, and you end up lost most of the time. it usually takes a while to figure it out on the later stages. overall i would recommend though! runs smooth on macbookpro10,2 os x 10.9.5 mavericks.
Best Game on the Mac
This game was so cool and interesting with the art style and the story was pretty interesting and honestly one of the only good games on the Mac I would definitely recommend buying it!
Great Fun
Great game to pass the time. Graphics are good and the controls are smooth. Runs great on the M1 Mac. totally worth the 6 bucks.
love it
i love the game good graphics and great story but i wish there was more levels
glitch
I played this game once and I loved it! but then it happened...i tried to open it and it wouldnt open. then its running made my computer heat up and sent the fan running wild...if this glitch gets fixed I would happily give this app 5 stars.
Wont start.
wont even load the main screen. will ask for refund
Won’t work
Like many others have reported it just won’t start.
Worthless
I bought it and it hasn’t worked once. It freezes before it even makes it to the opening menu, it’s a real peice of junk.
Agree with other people
As some people wrote, I downloaded the game, but it even didn’t open completely and froze the computer with an empty white box on. The support link doesn’t exist. Looks like the game worked back in 2015 or 2016, but definately now the package is not full or broken. Don’t buy the game as it is just a waste of time and money.
Agree with prev review
The game worked one time and seemed very fun for my son with fantastic graphics. However we’ve tried playing it 3-4 other times now and it just locks up the computer after not fully loading. I would not recommend this game. Like prev review stated, the link to the support does not go anywhere so there is no help with the app.
Game Won’t Load
Downloaded it and the screen runs up with a box in it, but nothing loads. The support link also doesn’t connect to any server. Don’t download this game and waste you money.
So how does it work
Downloaded it twice and it won’t start the game so I give it no rating
cool game , made my ps3 controller useful again
While the replayablity may be limited, basically just trying to recomplete levels with less mistakes and higher speeds, It’s a comforting throwback to sidescrollers from back in the day. I highly recommend getting a ps3 or ps4 bluetooth controller and not using a keyboard. I played this on a Mac Pro 4,1 from 2009
Darck
I liked this game at first. The art work is fantastic and the story line is quite cute and I liked the claver puzzle one has to salve. However close to the end of the game. some of the levels are almost impossible to see because they are so dark. One has to guess and most of the time one is wrong. Also I ended up trying to start over and over again. It got boring quick. I did finish the game however by pure luck. Now if you like art work and clever puzzles this is a cute game to play, Otherwise, its the same thing over and over again.
Absolutely wonderful
This is everything I want a game to be. It’s astoundingly beautiful, fun, whimsical and inventive. It’s an adventure game, but there are no bad guys to fight, just pits and spikes and spinning blades to avoid, and unique, engaging puzzles to solve, all of which are integrated into their settings splendidly. There are plenty of of parts that are about timing, jumping, or getting the right motion, but a lot of it is hitting levers or tilting platforms or rolling a boulder where you need it to get past an obstacle. It’s a perfect mix of exhilaration and mechanical cognition. I only wish there were more levels, but it’s a very satisfying length as it is, and I wouldn’t want more levels at the expense of quality. For the price of admission, you get an absolutely astounding experience. They made no compromises on the graphics, or really any aspect from storyline to voice acting to game dynamics. So I guess I don’t want more levels, so much as I want to keep playing. I know the creator isn’t wild about sequels, but I hope he keeps making more games of similarly lighthearted spirit, where adventure and wonderment abound. I feel like a kid again playing this game.
Beautiful and Challenging
Absolutely stunning, very fun adventure game. I loved playing this game for the visuals alone, but the challenge was also great.
Nice Game
This is a very nice game. I really liked it. It has very good graphics. I just wish it had more levels.
